Bean is a sweet 12-year-old indoor cat. She is friendly, affectionate, playful, and is a good conversationalist and lap companion. She tends to run somewhat anxious about certain things: namely vets, car rides, and kids.
Bean needed a new home because she has not adjusted well to having twin toddlers in the house. She has lived with other cats, but may make an adjustment to a new home quicker if there are no other animals. She would do well in a peaceful environment with no other animals.
Bean is currently being fostered in Charlotte, NC and her foster mom is working to resolve Bean's digestive issues that were, in part, related to her stress over living in a house with very young children.
If you are interested in adopting Bean, please send an email to info@lapsandnaps.org or call 828-447-1230.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting Butter, please send an email to info@lapsandnaps.org or call 828-447-1230.

Charlie was a community cat, being fed by kind neighbors, until the neighbors notified volunteers doing TNR that Charlie was ill. He was taken to the vet and found to have a serious URI. One of the volunteers kept Charlie in her garage while he was being treated with antibiotics and reached out to Laps and Naps because she wanted to see him live out his final years in a retirement home, rather than being put back outside.
Charlie is estimated by the first vet he saw to be about 15-years-old, however, his newest vet doesn't feel he is that old. Charlie is the sweetest, most loving and playful kitty. He had a recent dental and nasal flush to try to get to the root of his congestion issues.

She can use the litterbox and has healthy poops, but frequently misses the box and needs help and guidance in becoming a better box user. She has a treatable seizure disorder.
She is extremely loving and affectionate, and LOVES to be picked up and held. She loves to be near her person, and will follow the sound of your footsteps all over the house and sleep by your chair if she’s not snoozing in your lap.

Despite his greying fur, Tamaki can get around pretty well and get up onto a couch for cuddles! While he’s not super playful, he loves lying on a blankie on laps or sitting next to you. He also gives sweet little kisses and love nibbles. And though you’d think he’d be retired, he works hard every day making the finest biscuits around. He also enjoys listening to and watching birds (both real and TV ones). Tamaki would love a human to lounge around with and love on all day.
If you are interested in adopting Tamaki, please send an email to info@lapsandnaps.org or call 828-447-1230.
