Today we said goodbye to our dear, sweet Buddy. A most noble, gentle-cat, Buddy deeply touched the lives of those of us privileged to spend time with him in the ten weeks he was under our guardianship. Gabby’s story is like so many others in that she was one of four cats in the home of a person who was in Hospice care. Cimmy was the first cat to enter Laps and Naps’ long-term foster program, Senior Laps for Senior Cats. He was surrendered to us at the age of eighteen, seemingly in excellent health. His senior foster provider was not an experienced cat caregiver and Cimmy was the perfect “starter cat” because he was so loving and had no discernible bad habits.
