Lucy is a sweet 12-year-old, declawed cat. She was originally a stray kitten whose mother died and she was taken in by a couple who later had children. Unfortunately, the children are allergic to dogs and cats, so they are searching for a new home for Lucy.

Lucy is a very sweet companion who loves to sit or lie next to or near her humans. She is social, desires daily company, and enjoys being petted occasionally. She is wary of new people but eventually warms up, especially to adults who are mild mannered. She has never lived with any other animals, but enjoys looking out the windows at activity outside. Slow introductions with people and new spaces are important. She would do very well in a peaceful, indoor environment with no other animals.
